“I basically love riding bikes. I love searching for new trails, love finding ways to link them up and I love then sharing them with others.”
Graham Pinkerton, Alpine Flow MTB founder.
My mountain biking life began when I got an Emmelle Cougar for Christmas aged 11 and bikes have been part of my world one way or another ever since.
Raised in the West Highlands of Scotland, I’ve been exploring the hills since I was wee. Moving to Chamonix in 2009 made the playground bigger (and the weather sunnier).
I’ve been involved in most bits of biking over the years. Racing XC, DH and Enduro at all levels, organising national races, trail building, policy development and lobbying, playing in the street and riding on the road. And these days, guiding, where I’ve been lucky enough to work with and learn from some of the absolute best in the business.
Holding the French ‘BP-JEPS mention VTT’ (or “Carte Pro”) award means I’m legally qualified to guide mountain bike rides throughout France. I’ve also worked my way through the MIAS MTB leader qualifications, am BASP Outdoor First Aid certified a member of the Moniteur Cycliste Français and on the committee of the Les Houches Bike Crew, the local trail advocacy group creating and conserving the exceptional local trail network.
Alpine Flow MTB Guiding is proud to be supported by SCOR Bikes and Sapaudia Brewing. Because what else could make some of the best trails on the planet better than the perfect bike to ride them on and something refreshing to drink afterwards.
